2 2017 INTERBIKE INNOVATION AWARDS Award Categries and Criteria PRODUCT INNOVATION - The 2017 Interbike Innvatin Awards (PRODUCT) are based n mdel year 2018 launches. The categry includes bicycles, cmpnents, accessries and apparel. - Eligible brands must be an exhibitr at Interbike and/r OutDr Dem Brands can submit a maximum f ne (1) prduct per brand, per categry. Categries include: Rad Bike Innvatin Muntain Bike Innvatin Electric Bike Innvatin Triathln Innvatin - Prducts must be sent t the prper media partner (Rad Bike Actin, Muntain Bike Actin, Electric Bike Actin, LAVA Magazine) between June 1 st and August 15 th. - Media partners will select the winning prducts prir t Interbike and will award winning brands at OutDr Dem r Interbike between September at their bths. - The number f awards are brken dwn as fllws: Rad Bike Actin: 6 Muntain Bike Actin: 6 Electric Bike Actin: 4 LAVA Magazine: 3 - All winners will receive: Official IB Award, manufactured by Ashwrth Awards. Examples include retailers wh have grwn their business via mnichannel implementatin strategies, used bike trade-in initiatives, in-stre remdel r merchandising initiatives, staff training, hiring practices, lcal events, etc. Ten winners will be chsen frm individual retailer submissins by a grup made up f executive staff frm Bicycle Retailer and Industry News, The Mann Grup and Interbike. - All winners will receive: Official IB Award, manufactured by Ashwrth Awards Digital IB Awards lg t be used fr stre marketing Rund-trip dmestic flight t Interbike night htel stay in Las Vegas fr Interbike 2017 (rm & tax)

On r abut June 1st, Interbike will annunce the pening f the submissin prcess via an t retailers, and an annuncement n the Bicycle Retailer and Industry News website. b. Retailers will be directed t a shrt survey where they will fill ut 5-6 shrt questins (stre name, address, brands carried, etc), fllwed by an essay explaining the innvative idea, the initiatives that were taken and the impact it had n their business. c. Deadline fr the surveys will be July 15th. d. Between July 15-21, a grup f executives frm Bicycle Retailer and Industry News, The Mann Grup and Interbike will review all entries, and chse 10 winners. e. Winners will be ntified by phne n r arund July 24th. Flight and htel accmmdatins will be bked by Interbike within 5 days f ntificatin, and are nn-transferrable.
