NO USEF memberships, nn-member fees, r hrse registratins are required t cmpete in this shw. EXCEPTION: Amateur riders must have a USEF amateur card. Freign riders requesting Federatin Amateur status, must be a Junir, Senir r Life Cmpeting Member f the Federatin (Exceptin: Equestrian Canada members in pssessin f current EC membership may sign fr USEF Amateur status n a shw by shw basis at n cst). WDAA Memberships: All wners, trainers, and riders MUST be a member f WDAA t cmpete in this shw. Yu may jin WDAA at Amateur Status: If yu are entering amateur classes, yu will need t prvide prf f amateur status with yur entry. If yu d nt prvide prf f amateur status, yu will be placed in the pen divisin. Because this is a USEF recgnized shw, the nly acceptable prf f amateur status if a USEF Amateur card. Please see fr mre infrmatin n btaining an amateur card. GR 1306 and GR Junir Status: Riders are eligible t cmpete as junirs if they are 17 years f age r less at the beginning f the 2018 cmpetitin year (December 1, 2017 Nvember 30, 2018). GR 103. Yung Rider: Riders 21 and yunger at the beginning f the 2018 cmpetitin year (December 1, 2017 Nvember 30, 2018). GR 103. Numbers: Yu will be prvided with a back number and a bridle/halter number fr each hrse/rider cmbinatin. All hrses (cmpeting and nn-cmpeting) must wear shw numbers when they are utside f the stall. Each hrse/rider cmbinatin will be assigned a unique number. Hrses must have a bridle number attached at all times when utside f their stall. 9

10 Class Restrictins Hrses may be ridden by tw riders. Each hrse/rider cmbinatin requires a separate entry with all signatures and emergency cntact. WD 102 N hrse may be ridden in the same class number mre than nce (even with a different rider) per WD Hrses wh have shwn in Western Hack are n lnger eligible fr Western Suitability. Hrse/rider cmbinatins shwing in walk/jg rail classes are nt eligible fr ther rail classes r any test ther than Intrductry Level. Different hrse/rider cmbinatins are eligible fr ther rail classes and tests. Hrses may nt cmpete in mre than 6 tests per day. Hrses may nly cmpete in levels that are adjacent with the same rider. Fr example, a hrse may nt be ridden in a basic level test and a level tw test UNLESS with a different rider. WD 102. A hrse may be ridden by a maximum f tw riders. WD 102. Hrses Nt Cmpeting: Nn-shwing hrses are allwed n the grunds if space is available. The wner must enter the hrse n an entry frm, pay ffice, stall, and nn-cmpeting hrse fees and meet all health requirements. Tests: We will be using the 2017 WDAA/USEF Western Dressage tests which are available at Attire and Equipment: USEF rules and guidelines will be used fr attire and equipment. Fr mre infrmatin please review the USEF rule by clicking this link WD Dgs: Well-mannered and quiet dgs are allwed n the grunds but must be n a leash r restrained always. N dgs in shw ring r warm-up ring. Prf f current rabies must be available upn request. Sharps Cntainers: Cmpetitin management shall place at least ne sharps cntainer per every fifty hrses entered in stabling area fr the dispsal f needles and ther dispsable sharp instruments. It is cmpetitin management s respnsibility t replace such cntainers when full and dispse f them prperly. Cmpetitin management may fine any individuals, including trainers, wners, exhibiters r their agents up t $100 fr imprper dispsal f needles r ther sharp dispsable instruments. If lcal law has different requirements, lcal law will prevail. Hazardus weather, Acts f Gd, Accident Plicy: Management reserves the right t cancel any classes due t hazardus weather, Acts f Gd, accidents, r emergencies. Every effrt will be made t reschedule. Other: Every class ffered herein which is cvered by the rules and specificatins f the current rules and f the current USEF/WDAA rules will be judged in accrdance therewith. 10

11 Entries, Scheduling, and Scring A. General Infrmatin: Entries must be pst marked by the clsing date. Make checks payable t WDAA. T pay with a credit card, yu must use nline entry. Please visit fr nline entry. Every hrse/rider team requires a separate entry and ffice fee. The USEF drug fee is paid nce per hrse. A cpy f a negative Cggins test taken within the 12 mnths f the shw date and vaccinatin recrd (Equine Influenza Virus and Equine Herpes Virus Rhinpneumnitis within 6 mnths f shw date) must accmpany each entry. GR 845. All hrses must have a 30-day health certificate if traveling frm ut f state. Yur health certificate will be checked at the stalling ffice. All fees must be paid, and infrmatin supplied befre receiving packet. Entries are accepted n a first-cme, first-served basis, based n pstmark date. Entries may be limited. Late entries are accepted n a space-available basis and charged a $25/class late fee. If the classes are versubscribed, a wait list will be maintained. Hrses will be mved int the shw based n wait list rder prir t scheduling. After the shw has been timed, shw secretary will wrk wait list hrses int the shw based n the best fit with the schedule. Management reserves the right t refuse any entry. Please include WDAA membership number fr Owner, Rider, Trainer and Cach. If nt prvided yu will be placed n the waitlist until thse numbers are prvided. Entry is nt cmplete withut prviding these numbers. B. Scheduling Ride Cnflicts: Cmpetitrs with multiple hrses and hrses with multiple riders are urged t bring sufficient help. If a cnflict is discvered, ntify the shw secretary immediately. Final Salute Directins: The shw must stay n schedule r riders with multiple hrses will experience cnflicts in different arenas. T help with this, after yur secnd salute, please walk frward a few steps and turn tward A. In ther wrds, d NOT walk all the way t C befre turning t exit the arena. Freestyle scheduling: Freestyle classes will run after arena 2 rides are cmplete fr the day. The indr will be used fr freestyles. All freestyles (including basic) will be in the 20x60 arena. Management reserves the right t change fficials, limit entries, cmbine r cancel classes, and mdify the schedule t make whatever changes are required by circumstances t the cmpetitin specificatins listed herein. Management reserves the right t cancel classes insufficiently filled and t refuse r require withdrawal f an entry fr cause deemed sufficient by Shw Management. 11

12 C. Official Ride Times Acknwledgements: Entries will be acknwledged via upn receipt by the shw secretary. Prvisinal Ride Times: Prvisinal ride times will be available n abut ne week prir t the shw. Additinally, they will be ed. Day Sheet: Be certain t check the day sheet, which will be psted by 7pm the night befre each shw day. It will reflect any last-minute scheduling changes. The day sheet will be psted in the shw ffice lcated by the west dr f the indr arena. Ride times listed n will be cnsistent with the day sheet after 7pm. Musical freestyle sund check is 6 pm Thursday evening. Take yur music t the annuncer in ring 1. Music must be n a flash drive with a MP3 frmat. N CDs. D. Scres Tests will be scred electrnically and streamed cntinuusly. Yu may check yur scre at Scres will als be psted near the shw ffice (indr arena near west drs). It is the respnsibility f the cmpetitr t verify the accuracy f all scres. Duble stalls are available in the east barn nly. Shavings: Shavings may be purchased thrugh Lazy E Arena. NO OUTSIDE SHAVINGS ALLOWED. Cntact the Lazy E Arena business ffice at RIDE (7433) fr reservatins. Alternately, yu may purchase shavings upn arrival at the stalling ffice. Availability: Stalls are available Tuesday, September 25th beginning at nn. Stalls must be vacated by nn, Mnday, Octber 1 unless arrangements are made with the Lazy E fr additinal days. Early Arrival and Extended Stay: Cntact the Lazy E Arena business ffice RIDE (7433) fr reservatins if yu plan t arrive befre nn n Tuesday, September 25 r stay beynd nn n Mnday, Octber 1. Yur grup shuld decide n a grup name that all cmpetitrs prvide n their entry. Pririty Stalling: End stalls will be allcated based n grup size and spnsrship. GR845 Equine Vaccinatin Rule At Federatin licensed cmpetitins, hrses entering the grunds must be accmpanied by dcumentatin f Equine Influenza Virus and Equine Herpes Virus (Rhinpneumnitis) vaccinatins within six mnths prir t entering the stables. The frequency f vaccine administratin shuld be per the vaccine manufacturers r veterinarian s recmmendatins. It is recmmended that vaccines are administered by r under the directin f a veterinarian. 2. In the case f vaccines administered by a veterinarian, the exhibitr, upn request by Cmpetitin Management, must prvide dcumentatin frm the veterinarian n dcumenting that the hrse in questin received the vaccinatins; name f the vaccines and date f vaccine administratin. In the case f vaccines administered by a persn ther than a veterinarian, the exhibitr, upn request by Cmpetitin Management, must prvide a receipt f the vaccine purchase which is signed by the wner, r agent with care, custdy, and cntrl f the hrse; name, serial number and expiratin date f the vaccine; and date f vaccine administratin. 4. In the case f a hrse that is unable t receive either f the vaccinatins due t a histry f adverse reactins, the exhibitr, upn request by Cmpetitin Management, must prvide a letter frm the veterinarian n fficial letterhead stating that the hrse in questin cannt be vaccinated due t medical cncerns and a lg f temperatures taken twice daily fr the seven days prir t entering the cmpetitin grunds.
