1 TRYOUT DETAILS SEASON TRYOUT DATES & TIMES Tryuts will be held Mnday, May 12 th Wednesday, May 14 th. Athletes will attend all 3 days f tryuts at the time apprpriate fr their age grup. Day 1 & 2 f Tryuts structured as a clinic. Athletes will be evaluated in grups fr team placement n Day 3 f Tryuts. Tryuts are lw stress and fun - every athlete wh attends tryuts will be placed n a team! Ages 5 & Under à 4:00 PM 5:00 PM Ages 6 11 à 5:00 PM 7:00 PM Ages à 7:00 PM 9:00 PM AGES The USASF determines an athlete s cmpetitin age fr the seasn based n an August 31 st cut ff date. Cheer SD will need a cpy f each athlete s Birth Certificate t file with the USASF. Age Grups are as fllws: Senir Levels 2, 3, & 4: Ages Junir Levels 1, 2, & 3: Ages 14 and under Yuth Levels 1 & 2: Ages 11 and under Mini Level 1, 2: Ages 8 and under Tiny Level 1: Ages 5 and under LEVELS Fr the Cheer SD cmpetitin seasn, levels 1 4 will be ffered. The level refers t the difficulty f stunts, pyramids, and tumbling skills that a team can safely perfrm. PLACEMENT While tumbling is a large factr in determining an athlete s skill level fr team placement, there are ther cmpnents t determining team placement. There may be athletes n any given team that tumble at a different level than the ther team mates if the athlete has the stunting, jumps, dance, and mtins skill t help the team reach their gals. Every athlete is n the team fr a reasn, s please trust ur staff t place each athlete where the team will benefit the mst. 2 PROGRAM COSTS TUITION Tuitin is paid mnthly per athlete fr all teams. This includes all practices, 1 ptinal tumbling class and 1 hur f mandatry tumbling in the summer. Mnthly Team Tuitin cst is $155 per mnth. Prep - Team Mnthly Tuitin is $85 per mnth. Crssver Fee fr multi-team participants is $50 per mnth fr the additinal 20+ practice hurs per mnth. DISCOUNTS AND SAVINGS Sibling Discunt: After ne athlete enrlls, his/her 1 st sibling receives 10% ff mnthly tuitin. 2 nd sibling receives 25% ff mnthly tuitin. 1 st athlete - $155 per mnth 2 nd athlete - $140 per mnth 3 rd athlete - $116 per mnth Pay yur annual tuitin fees up frnt and save 10% ff yur ttal tuitin cst! Annual Cheer SD Family Picnic: Saturday, May 31 st Our Cheer SD Family Picnic is an annual event held at Mariner s Pint n Missin Bay. It is a great pprtunity fr ur athlete s and family members t bnd ver a Ptluck BBQ and enjy sme fun in the sun! San Dieg Cunty Fair Perfrmance: Saturday, June 21 st All teams will perfrm a shrt rutine prepared during their first mnth f practice. Athletes and 1 parent chaperne receive free admissin t the San Dieg Cunty Fair. Our perfrmance times and exact stage perfrmance lcatin is TBD. Wdward West Cheer Camp (Sessin 5): June 29 th July 5 th Wdward West ffers week lng residential Cheerleading Camp in Tehachapi, CA. Many f ur athletes will be attending Sessin 5 this summer.
