UPCOMING SCHEDULE TV/Radio After going 1-for-3 with a double and a walk last night, Turner continues to lead the Majors (min. 200 AB) with a.384 batting average and a.473 on-base percentage and currently sits with what would be the fourth highest batting average at the All- Star Break since 1969, trailing just Larry Walker (.398, 1997), Tony Gwynn (.394, 1997) and Andres Galarraga (.391, 1993). A huge debt of gratitude and appreciation go out to the dedicated members of Dodger fan club Pantone 294, who pulled an all-nighter, and voted for Turner round the clock in the Dodgers #VoteJT campaign headquarters, located adjacent to the Dodger clubhouse. The 2017 T-Mobile Home Run Derby, featuring Dodge rookie of the year candidate Cody Bellinger, will be broadcast live at 5p.m. Monday on ESPN, Mlb.com, ESPN Deportes and the ESPN App. The Esurance All-Star Game will air on FOX this Tuesday, July 11 and coverage begins at 4:30 p.m. PT. THE FAB FOUR: Congratulations are in order to the four Dodger All- Stars: Cody Bellinger, Kenley Jansen, Clayton Kershaw and Corey Seager. All four were selected via player balloting, with Bellinger making his first All-Star appearance, Jansen and Seager each making their second and Kershaw making his seventh. This marks the third time in the last four years that the Dodgers have had four or more All-Star representatives (also: 2014 and 2015) and were Turner to win the Final Vote, it would be the third time in the last 12 years that the club would have five players participate in the Midsummer Classic (1995 and 2015). At 21 years, 354 days old, Bellinger, is the youngest position player to be honored as an All-Star in franchise history (previous: Seager: 22 years, 69 days) and the third-youngest Dodger All-Star overall (at the time of their first selection), behind only Fernando Valenzuela (20 years, 281 days in 1981) and Ralph Branca (21 years, 183 days in 1947). Bellinger who is tied with Joey Votto for the NL lead in homers with 24, will represent the Dodgers in the T-Mobile Home Run Derby this Monday with his father, former big leaguer Clay, acting as his pitcher. ONTO THE NEXT DODGER: Dodger manager Dave Roberts announced yesterday that the Major Leagues win leader, Clayton Kershaw, would start on Sunday vs. Kansas City, making him ineligible to pitch in Tuesday s Midsummer Classic. That opens the door for the best pitcher in 2017, Alex Wood, to join the squad. Last night, Wood improved to 10-0 on the season, firing 7.0 scoreless innings. Wood is the first Dodger to start a season 10-0 since Ed Roebuck in 1962 and becomes the first Dodger starter to start the year 10-0 since Don Newcombe in No Dodger pitcher in the modern era (since 1913) has ever started a season DOC BOBBLE: Tonight, the first 40,000 ticketed fans will receive a Dave Roberts Manager of the Year Bobblehead, presented by Farmer John.
