Corpus Christi RHP Edison Frias walked the bases loaded to open the game. A double-play ball and 1B Viosergy Rosa s two-bagger to right field put Midland in front 2-0. Frias fought back by holding the Hounds to two walks and two hits, including a 3B Matt Chapman homer, over his final four frames. RHP Aaron West struck out four thru three scoreless innings to finish the game. A lead-off single by LF Danry Vasquez and a triple off the bat of SS Mott Hyde keyed a three-run third for the Hooks against RHP Corey Walter. RF James Ramsay and 3B Jack Mayfield began the Corpus Christi fourth with a walk and single respectively. Vasquez followed with a sac fly for a 4-2 edge.
