Rehabbing Astro Collin McHugh retired the first nine hitters, striking out five. McHugh recorded two outs in the fourth but surrendered three hits, including a two-run home run from Samir Duenez. Kent Emanuel stranded a runner at second in the frame, and went on blank the Naturals over the remaining five innings to finish the game. Emanuel fanned seven and walked one, throwing 48 of 69 pitches for strikes. Ramon Laureano cranked a home run off Corey Ray to begin the third. A walk to Kyle Tucker and JD Davis double led to two more runs, with Jon Singleton and Jamie Ritchie picking up RBIs. Tucker s eighth Double-A blast began the fifth, putting the Hooks in front 4-2. His two-out double in the eighth chased Laureano home from first base.
