The Sox went 4-7 on their fi nal trip at Cleveland, Detroit and the Yankees and 4-6 on the last homestand vs. the Indians, Minnesota and Oakland the club fi nished on the road. TONIGHT S STORYLINES Chris Sale (currently 267) needs three strikeouts to set a new White Sox single-season record... Ed Walsh s 107-year old club record of 269 strikeouts set in 1908 is the longest standing mark among existing franchises in the modern era (since 1901). Chicago starters have allowed three runs or less 13 times over the last 15 games, including two or less in 10 contests. The White Sox have scored a total of 40 runs (2.7) over the last 15 games, including three runs or less 10 times.
